WPHS is proud to announce your 2023-2024 Head Coaches

With a combined total of over 240 years of coaching experience, these men and women are setting the bar high for WPISD Athletes next school year.

Head Football Coach/AD:

James Boxley, 29 years of coaching experience, played baseball at University of Southern Mississippi, "As an alumni of this great district, I look forward to bringing back traditions that have made this community great for generations. OTSS!"

Track Coordinator/Asst AD/Girls Coordinator:

Jeff Lester, 21 years of coaching experience, ran track at ACU "I am excited to pour into girls athletics in WP. I believe we have assembled an outstanding girl's coaching staff who have all played at a high level."

Offensive Coordinator/Head Boys Track:

Brad Yudizky, 21 years of coaching experience, played football at Texas Christian University "I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to come to Wills Point and reunite with Coach Boxley! This is a great opportunity to build a culture of academic and athletic excellence while also empowering our athletes to build their own legacy!”

Defensive Coordinator/Head Golf:

Lee Wilkins, 25 years of coaching experience "I’m excited to be around hard working student-athletes that strive to be successful in academics and athletics."

Special Teams Coordinator/Head Powerlifting:

Bryan O'neal- 24 years of coaching experience "I’ve always admired the winning tradition and community support here at Wills Point and am looking forward to working with the students, staff, and parents here."

Head Volleyball:

LaQuendra Banks, 12 years of coaching experience, 4-year player at Henderson State "I am excited about WP, because it’s a great fit for my family, I’m excited about the volleyball program, school, and community. Looking forward to being apart of a great ISD!"

Head Woman's Tennis:

Ann Danielle, 31 years of coaching experience, played volleyball and tennis 87-88 Ouachita Baptist, 88-92 Tarlton State "Love Coaching in my hometown. It’s where I started and where I will finish. Blessed to be teaching in the town that blessed me so much growing up! Love my hometown!! Tiger proud!" #CarryOn

Head Men's Tennis:

Len Turner, 25 years of coaching experience, played tennis at Midwestern State “I bleed blue! Wills Point is a part of me. I am proud to be a part of Tiger Nation!”

Head XC/Assistant Track:

Bobbie Lester, 23 years of coaching experience “I’ve coached my whole career in Wills Point. I’ve met wonderful families and have had great athletes. This is my home.”

Head Woman's Basketball:

Dane Morgan, 22 years of coaching experience, played basketball at South Plains College “WP-great town, great people, and great kids…. Go Tigers!”

Head Men's Basketball:

Jonne, 16 years of coaching experience, played basketball at San Angelo State “I always look forward to another year in Wills Point, due to the great coaches, teachers, community members, and most of all the students and student/athletes that I get to work with. I'm excited to see the growth of all the students and student/athletes this summer and I'm looking forward to watching them succeed in all that they are involved in. OTSS”

Head Baseball:

Chris Wallace, 10 years of coaching experience “Coach is excited for the opportunity to work with Wills Point ISD and its community in growing these student-athletes to become leaders while being successful in athletics”

Head Softball:

Kate Keierleber, 9 years of coaching experience, 4 year softball player, All-American Catcher, 05-07 Hardin-Simmons, 07-09- University of Texas at Tyler "God has blessed me with a talent of giving young women the confidence and skills to be the best they can be. After taking a couple of years to coach my boys, I am excited to step back into coaching young women in Wills Point!" #willspointproud
