Support our Athletes!

If every athlete's parent in the WPISD sports program became a booster club member at the minimum membership of $25, we would be able to raise $15,000 each year for the program

Having such funds available could help improve various aspects of the sports program. Here are a few ways we utilize the raised funds:

  1. Equipment and Uniform Upgrades: We invest in new sports equipment, such as balls, bats, helmets, or protective gear, ensuring that athletes have access to high-quality and up-to-date gear. Additionally, we consider updating uniforms to boost team spirit and pride.

  2. Facility Improvements:  We enhance sports facilities, such as upgrading or maintaining fields, courts, tracks, or gymnasiums. This provides athletes with better training and competition environments.

  3. Coaching and Training Resources: We allocate funds to support coaches' professional development, providing them with opportunities for workshops, training courses, and certifications. Enhancing coaching resources can help improve the overall quality of coaching and, subsequently, the athletes' performance.

  4. Scholarships or Financial Assistance: Some portion of the funds are used to establish scholarships or provide financial assistance to deserving athletes. This ensures that talented athletes have opportunities to participate, regardless of their financial situation.

  5. Travel and Competition Expenses: We help cover travel expenses, accommodation, entry fees, and other costs for away games, tournaments, and events.

Remember, these are just a few examples of how the raised funds are used. The specific allocation depends on the needs and priorities of our sports program and the guidance of the booster club members.

We involve all stakeholders and establish a transparent process for decision-making and fund distribution.
